The American Express Line debuts tonight. Kudos to my man @Mhenderson95 for this slick visual.
Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, made a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Cam Charron takes a closer look at Nikolai Khabibulin’s other worldly 969 save percentage going into tonight’s game. Think the famously drunk Russian is due for a spot of regression? So does Cam Barker.
Tony Gallagher has a really good take on the similarities between the career’s of Dirk Nowitzki and Roberto Luongo. I enjoyed this one, especially the way Tony-G tactfully brings up Crystal Taylor. "Ill-advised dalliance." Totally keeping that one in my back pocket.
Ed Lau over at CanucksHockeyBlog revisists the infamous Jesse Belanger between Vancouver and Florida. It’s unique among Panthers-Canucks trades because Florida actually came out okay in it.
VIDEO BREAK: our pal the semi colon pays tribute to Amurica and the Canucks newly constituted AmEx line.

David Booth attended the optional skate today, which was awesome. Had he not he’d have set off a mini-firestorm on the twittergraph. Pass it to Bulis breaks down the headlines Booth avoided by not sleeping in this morning.
Matthew Sekeras chimes in on the big "loser" in the David Booth swap, a young man named Cody Hodgson. Will he be trade bait in the not too distant future? If Mike Gillis has watched the first 7 games of this season (and also if he slept through the first period of the Minnesota game on Saturday) my bet is: no way jose.
CanucksArmy is proud to announce our new partnership with The University of Duh who have sponsored a new headshots feature: "creative headline of the day." Today’s CHoD winner is Jason Brough over at PHT who titled his post on David Booth’s first game: "Canucks Hope Booth Can Boost Second Line." Other headlines that were nominated today include: "Kittens Need Oxygen to Survive" from the Cheese Whiz Daily Herald-Caller and "Video Games and Dorritos a Perfect Match Says Lazy Person," from the highly respected New Manchester News.
