Halloween is over, and that means that it’s time to get those moustaches going. If you’d like to grow yours out, and have some fun with it while supporting a good cause, check out the Vancouver Canucks’ team page. In fact, there’s a contest between the Canucks and the Canadiens, for who can raise more money by November 30th. 

Personally, I’m still not sure whether I’m going to participate in this year’s Movember festivities. I did last year, and as I found out, I can’t grow a moustache. I mean, it’s physically there, so technically I can. But I look less like Dave Babych and more like someone who creeps around elementary school playgrounds. 

Speaking of moustaches, Justin Bourne begins a three-part series highlighting all of the greatest moustaches in the history of hockey. If it’s beginning to curl, then you know you have something cookin’.

But we’re not done with Halloween quite just yet. At the Puck Daddy blog, Harrison Mooney collected some of the best NHL lockout-inspired costumes from last night. While there are definitely some gems amongst the bunch, I figured that it wouldn’t necessarily be the most original costume to go with this year. And that’s why I went as a member of The Lonely Island, throwing all caution (and scruples I may have once had) to the wind.

Devan Dubnyk gets spooked on Halloween break! After Strombone tweeted out a picture of himself waering an old-school Edmonton Oilers mask, I pointed out that Devan Dubnyk was probably having the scariest Halloween out of all of us. There’s nothing scarier than hearing the footsteps..

Pass it to Bulis brings up an interesting point – the Toronto Marlies are in town (in Abbotsford, which means I’m loosely throwing around the term "in town", but still) this weekend, and that matters. The Leafs are still the favourites to acquire Luongo’s services once the lockout is over, and this means that fans of the Canucks can get a good look at some potential players that may be coming back in return.

J.Bowman and Wyatt Arndt present us with Episode 1 of the ‘Legion of Blogcast’, which is witty, because it combines Legion of Blog, and podcast. I see what they did there.

If you weren’t indulging in the goodness that was the content on Canucks Army today, then you may need to visit your doctor. There was a chat with prospect defenseman Frank Corrado, an alternate reality where the Canucks wound up trading for Victor Hedman, and a conclusion to Rob Vollman’s point projections. There’s something there for everyone.
