Boston Bruins Assistant GM Jackie Chiles.
Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, produced a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Of course another Boston Bruin managed to avoid suspension after a clear cheap-shot today. Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli then criticized Ryan Miller, who was concussed on the play, for his comments about winger Milan Lucic following Saturday’s game. Because nothing says "team toughness" quite like admonishing potty-talk.
What is the polar opposite of the Boston Bruins. It’s Aaron Rome. Think about it, he’s easily suspendable, and he can score on the power-play. Here’s Harrison Mooney on why he expects Rome to continue to score goals.
Tony Gallagher profiles Cody Hodgson’s recent run of success, that has vaulted him up to fourth in rookie scoring. Cody Hodgson: good at hockey.

Gordon Macintyre writes that Roberto Luongo has turned the corner. While his save percentage hasn’t peaked up above .900 yet, he’s had four quality starts (Calgary, Chicago, LA, New York) in his last six outings.
Cam Charron talks about Hodgson’s quality performance last night in today’s Noon Number over at Nucksmisconduct. Interesting to note how few chances at even-strength the Canucks generated last night. An observation: the Canucks may be more reliant on point-shots to generate offense than they have been in the past couple of years… I guess they’re trying to ride the hot hand!
Finally our pal thestanchion has started doing "Rock Game Reviews" after every Canucks game. They’re hilarious
