The Canucks – like many in the media – are slowly returning to work. Great news, I was getting pretty damn tired of summer. Just think about it: next weekend we’ll have NFL football, then on Tuesday NHL2012 will be released, and then we’ll all be live-streaming the prospects tourney and gawking at Sebastian Erixon’s skill with the puck. Can. Not. Wait.

Gordon McIntyre catches up with Samuelsson to talk about the Canucks chances this season. Samuelsson also drops an odd line that causes the good folks at PassittoBulis to smear the Swede as a "pacifist."

Global News is reporting that the Vancouver Police are launching a new website to help identify game 7 rioters. Sounds from the report like the press is getting pretty anxious about charging some of these jack-asses for their roles in the evening of looting that followed game 7.
