The Canucks can’t seem to get into the Winners Only Party.
Ryan Reynolds can, but no one accepts his free drink offers.
Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, made a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.
The above image is from a post about the Canucks "Stanley Cup Finals hangover" from Days of Y’Orr. The DOY guys have averaged about a post per week devoted exclusively to the Canucks, their fans and the city of Vancouver. That’s more posts over the course of the last few months than fifty percent of the "bigger" Canucks blogs in the smylosphere. Thats… Well it’s something.
The biggest news today is that Ryan Kesler will get naked for ESPN the magazine. The issue hits newsstands on October 7th and it will be eagerly anticipated by females, gay dudes and straight dudes who appreciate male beauty, and the masculine ideal that Ryan Kesler embodies.
You have to check out this series of infographics put together by Jeff Ho over at tenmillionforSundin, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Jeff Ho has been working all summer long on a series of posts that attempts to understand the relationship between the twins point production. What he’s put together here is both interesting, and really unique. Not a lot of analysis is done about special teams generally, and the the way Jeff has presented that analysis, and x’s and o’s, in a visually accessible way is ambitious and well-executed. Kudos to Jeff for his hard work on a pretty neat project.

Harrison Mooney writes the Canucks preview at Puck Daddy and does so brilliantly. Also at passittobulis today – he asks the question: does Alain Vigneault hate Keith Ballard in addition to Cody Hodgson? All I know, is that I wouldn’t want to bump into Alain Vigneault at the haters ball.
While Chicago fans tear into coach Joe Quenneville for his "stupid" decision to kick the tires on deploying Patrick Kane at center, a Canucks blogger – Cam Charron – sees the logic in it.
Botchford basically solves the "whose starting on the fourth line" problem for us. Turns out Vigneault doesn’t really think Mancari is fast enough, and Byron Bitz is going to be out for longer than anticipated. Oreo-Lapierre-Duco it is!
