Our friends over at SoYoureAnExpert.com invited me to appear on their podcast. Little did I know – I was opening for the great Jason Botchford who apparently "is Krs-1." These guys do a great job, they even manage to make listening to me talk for twenty minutes palatable.

A big stick-tap to Katie Maximick and the rest of the folks over at Canucks Hockey Blog for hosting the "Heart of a Canuck" contest. The contest is aimed at honouring a member of the community who embody the virtues of "integrity, passion, courage, humility" and community involvement that the Canucks and their fans (sometimes) hold dear. 

Cam Charron writing at Nucksmisconduct pegs 248 as the number of goals the Canucks will need to score to retain top-spot in the Western Conference. I spent an enormous amount of time crunching the numbers today, and you can find out what I think on Thursday at…. Oh wait, it’s a big secret. Well stay tuned on twitter, and you’ll figure it out.

Big news – Cody Hodgson has switched numbers and will sport the #9 in Thursday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Let’s all hope that Cody Hodgson has a great Kariya, and if you don’t wish him well, then you can go to Hull…. I’ll show myself out.
