Elias Pettersson named to NHL All Star Game

After being named the NHL Rookie of the Month for December, Elias Pettersson has been named to the All Star Team for the Pacific division
The full press release is below:
Vancouver, BC – The National Hockey League announced today that Vancouver Canucks rookie forward Elias Pettersson will represent Team Pacific Division in the 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Game and Weekend.
Pettersson, 20, becomes the youngest Canucks player and just the third Canucks rookie (Tallon, Boeser) named to the honour. Pettersson leads all rookies in goals (19), assists (20), points (39), power-play goals (tied, 5), power-play assists (7), power-play points (12), game-winning goals (6) and shooting percentage (26.0%). The Sundsvall, Sweden, native has registered two five-point games this season, becoming the sixth rookie in the NHL’s expansion era to record multiple five-point games within a season.
The NHL’s Rookie of the Month recipient for the months of October and December, Pettersson also leads Canucks skaters in goals, assists, points, points per game (1.08), power-play goals (tied), power-play assists (tied) power-play points, game-winning goals and shooting percentage.
The 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend takes place on Jan. 25-26 and will include the SAP NHL All-Star Skills on Friday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. PT (SN, CBC) and the Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 5 p.m. PT (SN, CBC).
Like being named the December Rookie of the Month, it’s no surprise to see Pettersson being named to the roster.
Pettersson does earn a $212,500 Schedule A bonus by being named to the NHL All Star game:

This is the first of four possible such bonuses that Pettersson can earn, but he only needs one more goal to earn that second one.
