Coyotes v. Canucks: Scoring Chance Data

To briefly recap Friday’s game against Phoenix: the Canucks got off the even-strength schneid in a big way with five even-strength goals. They were led by their second line who played a phenomenal game, and completely dominated proceedings, allowing only six total chances against through sixty minutes. Alex Edler’s aggressive physical play stood out to me, especially in the first period, and helped establish a "tone" for the game. The coyotes struggled to get out of their own end and were completely man-handled by a superior Canucks team that looked to have found their legs.
