CanucksArmy Podcast: Relaunch

CanucksArmy Podcast
Hello old friends! It has been way too long since I last filled this blog with words, and I’m sorry about that. Over the summer I changed jobs, and moved, and have been dealing with some personal stuff that has cut into my CanucksArmy.com time.
But I miss you guys, and I promise I’ll drop by more frequently going forward than I have through the quarter poll of this pretty excellent hockey season! Here’s one of the things you can expect me to produce more regularly: we’re re-launching the CanucksArmy podcast. That’s right: it’s back, and it’s going to be better than ever. Here’s our first episode featuring Greg Wyshynski of Yahoo! Sports and the Marek v. Wyshynski podcast, and Kevin Woodley of NHL.com and InGoal Magazine.

Before I post the streaming link, I just want to tell you a bit about the re-launch. We’ve upgraded our tech so the sound quality is much improved over last year (and we’ll keep improving it as we get better at working with the equipment). We’ve added a producer in John Josh Gold-Smith, an ace .gif maker and formerly the producer of the Marek v. Wyshynski podcast. He’s awesome.
Other than that it’ll be the same show: we’ll get excellent guests every week and we’ll try to bring you three quarters of an hour of an interesting conversation with an intelligent hockey person. That’s really the mission statement. Most of the time we’ll talk about the Canucks, but we’ll keep our eye on the rest of the league too.
So without any further ado, you can stream the podcast from within this post:

Or you can download an .mp3 file of the podcast and listen on the go. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
You probably won’t believe me at this point, and fair enough, but we’ll have the podcast on iTunes shortly and we’ll let you know when and where to subscribe when we’ve figured that out.
Hope you enjoy, and please let us know if you have any requests for guests you’d like us to chat with, or any criticisms or constructive comments concerning the product!
