Fast Facts
> Comforts of Home: The Canucks will look to crack the century mark this evening and notch a win at home for the first time since March 1st. The Sedins will look to keep their torrid point streak going against a usually formidable Niklas Backstrom, but the guy he should fear the most is Malhotra who has the most points against the Wild this season (3-2-5). The fourth line will be without Glass again, so Tambo and Higgins will flank Lapierre and remain top six subs in case Samulesson gets lazy. Better still is the chance for Vancouver – just as they did with Calgary – to play a small spoiler roll to their playoff hopes.
> Tick Tock: The Wild are living on borrowed time. They need to make up four points to catch the Flames and will need some help from opponents of Nashville and Anaheim along the way. They may will get some much needed relief tonight if Koivu and Clutterbuck can return. If not the defense should hone in on Havlat (Minnesota’s leading scorer) and give him no room to work. Similar problem children are found in Matt Cullen (2-2-4) and Antti Miettinen (1-3-4), the leading scorers against the Canucks this season. Latendresse and Barker remain sidelined.
> Impress Your Friends With Knowledge!: Tonight will be the 400th game for Chris Higgins: five with Vancouver and the rest split between Florida, Calgary, the New York Rangers and Montreal.
