Fast Facts
> Good To See You (Sorta): The Canucks will finally entertain a Wild team with Pierre-Marc Bouchard in the lineup. The Wild winger has missed a little over an entire season with complications from a concussion, something Vancouver fans are sensitive too seeing Willie Mitchell knocked out of commission for half of last season with similar symptoms.
Bouchard was last seen skating between Eric Nystrom and Matt Cullen. We’ll return to hating PMB in short order, but it’s good to see him back on the job.
> Good To See You (We’re Totally Lying Now): Vancouver has dropped their last three in the Xcel Center and Luongo has coughed up an ugly 3.58 GAA career-wise in Minnesota. Oh there was that whole Rypien thing too…cough cough moving on. So it stands to reason the Ginger Jesus returns to the pipes as he’s 2-0 against the Wild with a .86 GAA. Perhaps helping Schneider’s cause for a win this afternoon is that the Wild have dropped three straight and been outscored 13-2 in the process. Their 109 goals is tied with Edmonton for worst in the conference.
> Impress Your Friends With Knowledge!: Alex Edler needs one more assist for 100 in his five season career, all with the Canucks.
