> Promotion Time: Mason Raymond’s shoulder will keep him off the ice tonight, meaning a promotion has been earned for either Tanner Glass or Jeff Tambellini. Glass alongside Lapierre and Oreskovich is about as formidable a fourth line as the Canucks have had this year, so expect Glass to stay back and Tambellini to get some top six duties. As that Cam Davie fella tweeted earlier today, "When Raymond was hurt for 12 gms, and Tambellini played on the 2nd line, the #Canucks went 9-1-2. Kesler had 9G 8A 17Pts +11." Luongo returns to the pipes a few days after his 300th career win.

> Will the real pack of pups please stand up?: Phoenix has lost four of their last five, pushing them down to third in the Pacific and 7th in the west. At the deadline they moved offense in Upshall for defense in the form of  Klesla (Jovo and Sauer are out and Morris is uestionable). If you look at the stats above, you can see why: Phoenix has been coughing up a ton of goals and thier PK is periously close to the worst in the league. Vancouver finally ended their 0-for-15 PP streak against Anaheim; can they kick open the flood gates on a banged-up backend and Bryzgalov (who’s had a poor year against the Canucks thus far)?
