Canucks activate F Brock Boeser ahead of game against Buffalo, send Nic Petan to Abbotsford
It appears Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser will make his 2021-22 season debut tonight in Buffalo.
The 24-year-old forward has been activated from injured reserve the team’s PR Twitter account announced late Tuesday morning.
Nic Petan has been designated for assignment to the Abbotsford Canucks as a result.
Boeser went down with an undisclosed injury during the preseason and hasn’t appeared in game action since the Canucks’ preseason tilt against the Calgary Flames on September 27th.
The 24-year-old recorded 23 goals and 26 assists in 56 games with the Canucks last season.
The Canucks, who have shuffled their lines aplenty in Boeser’s absence, will face the Sabres tonight at 4 PM pacific.
