It’s the penultimate game of the Vancouver Canucks season as they take on the Calgary Flames. With just a single point tonight, the Canucks would clinch the Pacific Division and keep their hopes alive for the first seed in the Western Conference.
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Calgary Flames’ Jacob Markstrom (23-22-2) vs. The Vancouver Canucks’ Thatcher Demko (34-13-2).

Vancouver Canucks to Score a Powerplay Goal (-143)

A $10.00 bet would return $17.00.
The Vancouver Canucks powerplay has found its stride again, with powerplay goals in five of their last seven games and convert at a 25.9% clip over their last 10 games.
Vancouver has a powerplay goal in two of the three games against Calgary this season. Over their last 10 games, the Flames have the second lowest success rate, killing the penalty at just a 66.7% clip. The Flames allow the fifth most powerplay opportunities against over that same span, averaging 3.3 per game.

Conor Garland Point (-110)

A $10.00 bet would return $19.09.
Conor Garland has shown that it doesn’t matter where you put him in the lineup; he’s going to produce. He’s back on the third line with Dakota Joshua and new centreman Elias Lindholm. It’s his second revenge game tonight for Lindholm – he nabbed an empty net goal in his first outing.
Garland has eight points in seven of his last eight games. He’s got three goals and two assists on his current four-game home-point streak. Against the Flames, he has two points in three games this season. Calgary has allowed the sixth most goals against over their last ten games, averaging 3.8 per game.

Elias Pettersson Goal (+175)

A $5.00 bet would return $13.75.
Elias Pettersson has dried up lately, with just one goal in his previous 11 games. But Pettersson owns the Flames. He has goals in five of his last six games against his division rival. And given how the powerplay is humming, along with the Flames struggling on the penalty kill, I think Pettersson can get the monkey off his back tonight.

Last Game Recap:

Pittsburgh Penguins Moneyline – WON – (+$8.33)
Sidney Crosby Over 3.5 Shots on Goal – WON – (+$12.00)
Sidney Crosby Goal – WON – (+$7.00)
That’s how we do it! After a disappointing start, we get our first sweep on the back of Captain Crosby! Penguins took an early lead and held onto it for the rest of the game. Crosby cashed his shots on goal line in the first period, with one of his four shots finding the back of the net.
Let’s build off this tonight!
All-Time Record: 5-8 (-$46.48)
