Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
A three goal night from Kyle Connor gave the Jets their third victory against the Canucks in under a month. Sunday’s 7-4 loss to Winnipeg moved the Canucks in second-last league wide in goals against, ahead of only the Anaheim Ducks.
Vancouver will continue their five game road trip against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Although Pettersson hasn’t found twine in his past three games, he’s tallied 16 shots in that span, which is an average of 5.3 per game. I like his over again tonight.
Player Prop #2
Bo Horvat to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50.
Horvat continues to be red hot, scoring three goals in his past three games and registering 11 shots in that span, which is an average of 3.66 per game. Rolling with his over again tonight.
The game to have over 6.5 goals scored at -125. My $10 bet would return $18.00.
Two teams with fire power up front and both their backup goalies playing, I like the over tonight.
Last Game Bets
Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at +150. My $10 bet would return $16.66. – HIT
Over 1.5 power play goals to be scored in the game at +125. My $10 bet would return $22.50. – MISSED
Winnipeg to win money line at -185. My $10 bet would return $15.40. – HIT
Two for three for us, tough luck for us as the Jets didn’t get a power play the entire game. We staked $30 and returned $32.06. We are now up $2.38 on the year.
