Welcome to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Don’t look now, but after a thrilling 8-5 win over the Ducks, the Canucks have won 3 of their last 4 games. Vancouver will look to continue that momentum in a matchup against the Nashville Predators, a team they will likely be battling for a playoff spot come April. Here are three bets to look at for tonight’s matchup.
Easy Money
Bo Horvat to register over 2.5 shots at -150. My $10 bet would return $16.66.
Horvat is on an absolute tear, and is tied with Erik Karlsson for 2nd in the NHL in goals this season. Horvat has an astonishing 17 shots in his past 3 games (an average of 5.6 per game). I like his over 2.5 tonight.
Hunch of the Day:
Roman Josi to register a power play point at +162. My $10 bet would return $26.25.
The Canucks still have the worst penalty kill in the NHL at an alarming rate of only 57.6%. Josi finished 2nd in the NHL last season in power play points among defenders.
Josi has started to heat up on the PP recently scoring 3 points in his last 2 games.
Not so risky business?
The Vancouver Canucks to win moneyline and the game to finish with over 5.5 goals at +162.  My $10 bet would return $26.25.
The Canucks enter the game as a -120 favorite, if you’re feeling the Canucks tonight like I am this is the bet for you. It brings the bet into heavy + money and considering the over 5.5 has hit in all Canucks wins this season, I like that trend to continue.
Last Game Bets
The Vancouver Canucks to finish with 33 shots or more at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50. – HIT
Quinn Hughes to register a power play point at +105. My $10 bet would return $20.50. – HIT
Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -163. My $10 bet would return $16.15. – HIT
A nice 3-for-3 last game on the scorecards for us, we staked $30 and returned $55.15. We’re now up $3.70 on the year.
