Betway Bets of the Day: Vancouver Canucks look to stay hot against the Winnipeg Jets

Bo Horvat’s league-leading eighth multi-goal game lifted the Canucks to a 6-2 win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. Horvat has moved to second in the league in goals scored, five behind Connor McDavid for first.

The Canucks will look to make it four straight wins against the Winnipeg Jets. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Mark Scheifele to register over 2.5 shots at -125. My $10 bet would return $18.00.

Scheifele has 11 shots in his last three games which is an average of 3.66 per game. With both Wheeler and Ehlers out, I like Scheffele to continue to elevate his game.

Bo Horvat to score a goal at +135. My $10 bet would return $23.50.

Horvat has scored six goals in his last six games. In Vancouver’s last meeting with the Jets on December 17th, Horvat was the Canucks’ lone goalscorer.

Winnipeg to score a power play goal at -138. My $10 bet would return $17.27.

Although Winnipeg has a middle-of-the-pack power play, Vancouver is still dead last in the NHL on the penalty kill. I like the Jets to get one tonight with the extra man.
