A highly anticipated clash between Vegas and Vancouver for the top spot in the West did not go too well for the Canucks as they were dominated all night long, losing 4-1 to the Golden Knights. Andrei Kuzmenko scored the lone goal for the Canucks to end a ten game scoreless drought.
Next up for the Canucks is a visit to the Scotiabank Saddledome as Vancouver looks to continue to distance themselves from the Flames in the standings. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Player Prop

Filip Hronek to register over 1.5 shots at -188. My $12.50 bet would return $19.16.
Hronek has tallied over 1.5 shots in eight of his last nine games and also hit his over in Vancouver’s only matchup with Calgary on November 16th. Odds are low here but this play is trending very well. Put a full unit on it.

Pre-Built Bets

Calgary to score a power-play goal at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50.
Vancouver’s penalty-kill struggles continued against Vegas, as the Canucks have now given up a power-play goal in six of their last seven games. We’ll bet on this trend to continue and stake .8 units on this play.

Main Markets

Vancouver to win money-line at +100. My $10 bet would return $20.
This is an interesting one, Vancouver has clearly been better than Calgary this season, but I do understand why Vegas favours the Flames here. Calgary has won back-to-back games against two good teams in Vegas and Dallas, and Vancouver has just been treading water recently.
Ultimately I think Vancouver is due for a big night from Thacher Demko and think their top end talent will be too much for the Flames to handle. Put .8 units on the road dog Canucks to win.

Last Game Bets

Jack Eichel to register a power-play point at +140. My $10 bet would return $24.  – HIT
Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -182.  My $12.50 bet would return $19.37. – MISSED
Both teams to register under 6.5 goals at -120. My $10 bet would return $18.33.  – HIT
A solid night of profit, we staked $32.50 and returned $42.33. We are now up $56.44 on the year.
