Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
Another game, another blown lead by the Canucks. Vancouver started the game hot, scoring three goals in quick succession, but five unanswered by the Penguins ultimately gave them the 5-4 win.
Vancouver has now lost five of their last six games and with a matchup against the perennial powerhouse Tampa Bay Lightning looming, times are less than ideal for the Canucks. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Pettersson has hit for us in three straight games and has 19 shots in that span which is an average of 6.33 per game. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Elias Pettersson to score anytime at +175. My $10 bet would return $27.50.
Pettersson has been snake bit recently, he’s been controlling play and generating well above his season average in shots over his last five games but hasn’t scored. He’s due and I like him to get one tonight.
Nikita Kucherov to score a power play point at -134. My $10 bet would return 17.50.
Kucherov scored three power play points Tuesday against Columbus and has scored four power play points in his past three games.
Last Game Bets
Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -150. My $10 bet would return $16.66. – HIT
Bo Horvat to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – MISSED
The game to have over 6.5 goals scored at -125. My $10 bet would return $18.00. – HIT
Two for three again, we staked $30 and returned $34.66. We are now up $7.04 on the year.
