Betway Bets of the Day: The Canucks’ odds to win seem lower than being struck by Lightning

Another game, another blown lead by the Canucks. Vancouver started the game hot, scoring three goals in quick succession, but five unanswered by the Penguins ultimately gave them the 5-4 win.

Vancouver has now lost five of their last six games and with a matchup against the perennial powerhouse Tampa Bay Lightning looming, times are less than ideal for the Canucks. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Pettersson has been snake bit recently, he’s been controlling play and generating well above his season average in shots over his last five games but hasn’t scored. He’s due and I like him to get one tonight.

Nikita Kucherov to score a power play point at -134. My $10 bet would return 17.50.

Kucherov scored three power play points Tuesday against Columbus and has scored four power play points in his past three games.

Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -150. My $10 bet would return $16.66. – HIT
