The Vancouver Canucks have not lived up to expectations this season, but you can’t say they haven’t been one of the most entertaining teams in the league. Thursday’s 6-5 win over the usually low-event Islanders was no exception.
Vancouver will wrap up their four game road trip against the Detroit Red Wings. Here are three bets I like for todays game.
Player Prop
Pettersson has scored three goals in his last three games and is really emerging as an even bigger presence since the departure of Bo Horvat. I expect Pettersson to be all over the ice again today.

Dylan Larkin to register over 3.5 shots at -105. My $10 bet would return $19.52.
Larkin has hit his over in four of his last five games. I like him again tonight.
Special Teams
Elias Pettersson to register a power play point at +125. My $10 bet would return $22.50.
Pettersson’s role on the Canucks’ power play has changed post all star game and the league’s hardest shot is being utilized more. Pettersson scored a power play goal Thursday and I like him to pot another one today.
