Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
After a lacklustre Wednesday with only one game on the NHL slate, Thursday will bring us hockey in abundance with 11 games. Vancouver is the only Canadian team not in action tonight, but worry not Canucks fans, there’s plenty of hockey around the league that will pique your interest.
Here are three bets I like for tonight’s games.

Player Prop

Nikita Kucherov to register a power-play point at -120. My $12.50 bet would return $22.91.
Kucherov has registered four power-play points in his last three games. I expect this trend to continue against a San Jose team that takes a lot of penalties and is bottom ten in the league on the penalty-kill.

Player Prop

Nathan Mackinnon to register over 4.5 shots at -167. My $10 bet would return $16.
Mackinnon is a shot-generating machine. He currently leads the entire NHL with 38 shots in just six games, which is an average of 6.3 per game. I also expect Mackinnon to be extra motivated tonight against his good friend Sidney Crosby. We will risk .8 units here.

Player Prop

Seth Jarvis to register over 2.5 shots at -110. My $10 bet would return 19.09.
Jarvis has hit his over in four of his last five games. During that five game span, Jarvis had a five-shot outing against the Seattle Kraken, who the Hurricanes are playing tonight. Another play where we will risk .8 units.

Last Game Bets

Dougie Hamilton to register over 2.5 shots at -175. My $12.50 bet would return $19.64 – MISSED
Jack Hughes to register a power-play point at point at +135. my $10 bet would return $23.50. – MISSED
Timo Meier to score anytime at +187. My $6.75 bet would return $19.40. – HIT
Hughes scored three point but all at even-strength as the Devils only had one power-play. We staked $29.25 and returned $19.40, we are now up $40.39 (3.2 units) 0n the year.
