A massive win for not only the Vancouver Canucks, but the city of Vancouver as a whole. And while Canucks fans are excited to see more playoff action, there are two division rivals playing tonight to bet on!
Today’s confirmed goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Los Angeles Kings’ Cam Talbot (327-20-6) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-16-5).

Edmonton Oilers Moneyline & Connor McDavid Point (-140)

A $10.00 bet would return $17.14.
Oh joy, for the third straight year, hockey fans get to watch the Edmonton Oilers and the Los Angeles Kings in the first round. In the last two seasons, the Oilers came out victorious, winning both series, 4-3 and 4-2, respectively. Now, Edmonton did lose both opening games, but I don’t anticipate history will repeat itself for the third time.
Edmonton took the season series 3-1 this year while outscoring the Kings 11-9. The Oilers come into the playoffs having won just one game of their last five, but the playoffs are a different beast. With Edmonton’s historical success against Los Angeles, I think they start strong tonight with Connor McDavid leading the way.
McDavid’s point line is set at 1.5, so we’re buying it down to just one point, which McDavid has a point in all but 12 games this season. He failed to register a point in his most recent game and has yet to go two games without a point since November.
Against the Kings, he has points in eight of his last nine games, finishing with 17 points. In the playoff series against the Kings last season, he had a point in five of six games, totalling 10 points. Cam Talbot has allowed 16 goals over his previous five starts.

Adrian Kempe Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-150)

A $10.00 bet would return $17.50.
Adrian Kempe has cleared this line in five of his last 10 games, averaging 2.6 shots on 5.5 shot attempts. When looking at his road splits, he has cleared in four of his previous five games, averaging 3.2 shots on 7.2 shot attempts.
Kempe crushes the Oilers. He has cleared this line in 10 straight games, averaging 5.0 shots on 7.9 shot attempts. Edmonton allowed the second most shots on goal to right-wingers of all playoff teams this season.

Last Game Recap:

Vancouver Canucks Moneyline – WON – (+$10.00)
Quinn Hughes Point – WON – (+$10.00)
What a night for Vancouver Canucks fans! It was the first playoff home game since 2015, and it was a successful comeback win for the Canucks! As the title said, they were led by Quinn Hughes, who got this team back in the hunt with a shot that Pius Suter tipped to cash his point prop.
All-Time Record: 10-11 (-$30.78)
