A quiet four game slate in the NHL will be headlined by a Pacific Division clash between the Edmonton Oilers and the LA Kings. Edmonton and LA are currently tied for third in the division with 68 points, with the Oilers holding a game in hand.

The Kings won the only prior matchup of the season 4-0 earlier this month. Here are three bets I like for today’s games.

David Pastrnak to register over 4.5 shots at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50.

Pastrnak hit with ease for us on Saturday night against Vancouver, and we’re going to go right back to him tonight. This is a perfect matchup, as the Bruins star has dominated the Kraken in his career, scoring five goals in five career games against the club.

That can mainly be attributed to his ability to generate shots against the Kraken, as he’s hit his over 4.5 in his last four games against Seattle. Take this play at .8 units.

Connor McDavid to score anytime at +115. My $10 bet would return $21.50.

The best player in the world has yet to find the back of the net in his last nine games and has taken more of a playmaking role this season as he’s set to eclipse a career-high in assists. But this is a perfect matchup for things to change, as McDavid has scored in three of his last four regular-season games against the Kings.

McDavid has mentioned that LA is one of his favourite teams to beat in the league, and after a 4-0 loss earlier this month, you can bet McDavid will look to seek his revenge. Take this play at .8 units.

Brady Tkachuk to register over 3.5 shots at -150. My $12.50 bet would return $20.96.

Tkachuk at 3.5 to me is always a full unit ride, he’s hit that mark in nine of his last ten games and I love the matchup against Washington as he’s hit in four of his last five against the club.

This is a full unit play for us.

David Pastrnak to register over 4.5 shots at -138. My $10 bet would return $17.27.  – HIT

Elias Pettersson to register over 2.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50. – MISSED

Pettersson ended with two shots, and we ended up in the red for the day. We staked $30 and returned $17.27, and we are now up $55.95 on the season.
