Vancouver will be without their leading goal scorer, Brock Boeser; who will step up for the team? Will this game define Connor McDavid’s legacy as a winner? We’re just a mere few hours away from answering all these questions.
What tension, what drama, what a time to be alive.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (3-0-1) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-15-2).
Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -150. My $12.50 bet would return $20.83.
After a dominant game five, Quinn Hughes was quiet in game six, which was arguably his worst game of the playoffs. In game seven at home, I expect the complete opposite from the Canucks captain. He has been utterly dominant on home ice against the Oilers this season and I expect the Canucks to crack Stuart Skinner a few times.

Elias Pettersson played his two best games of the series in games five and six and has been in on the last two Canucks goals. With Boeser out, I do expect Pettersson to get more shifts with JT Miller and for him to fire away against Stuart Skinner on the power play.

Vancouver to win money-line at +135. My $10 bet would return $23.50.
Everything is pointing in the direction of an Oilers win, so much so that the Oilers are -165 road favourites which is insane for a playoff setting. Stuart Skinner is absolutely awful in Vancouver and if the Canucks test him enough I have them winning this game.
Pretty much every “capper” has been on the Oilers every game, I think Vancouver will rally for Brock and the home crowd will be a massive factor tonight.
