The last day before the NHL officially goes on All-Star break will feature a three-game slate headlined by a crucial matchup in the Western Conference playoff race between the LA Kings and Nashville Predators.

For most parts of the season, Canucks fans had a keen eye on the Kings as they were in the thick of the Pacific Division race, but after 12 losses in 14 games, the Kings are now in danger of falling completely out of the playoff picture entirely. Both Nashville and LA are tied with 54 points, meaning this game could have serious implications later in the season.

Here are three bets I like for tonight’s games.

The former Senator Debrincat is a really solid bet to get a point at these odds. Debincat has scored three points in his last three games and has scored a point in his last two games against his former club. Ottawa is bottom three in goals against and we could see a “revenge game” from Debrincat here.

Brady Tkachuk to register over 3.5 shots at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50.

Tkachuk had a monstrous shooting night Monday against the Red Wings, tallying a game-high eight shots on net. This is the perfect spot for him to continue his success as Detroit ranks 27th in the league in shots against.

Phillip Danault to register over 1.5 shots at -176. My $12.50 bet would return $19.76.

Danault has hit over 1.5 in six of his last seven games and continues to be one of the few bright spots for the Kings. I like him a lot again tonight and will make this my only full-unit play of the day.

Nashville blew a 3-0 lead and Stutzle ended with two shots sigh, 0-3. We are now up $120.58 0n the season.
