Announcing the Launch of Canucks Army Radio on TSN 1040 AM

It is with great pride and excitement that I can now announce the launch of Canucks Army Radio on TSN 1040 AM.

You’ve been waiting for an update on the future of the Canucks Army Podcast, and this is it. Starting this Friday at midnight, and on most Saturday’s in the 3-5 PM time slot, you can get caught up in the world of Vancouver Canucks hockey with the premier voice in the market on the premier platform for sports talk radio. If you can’t get to the radio in time for the original recordings, we’ll provide links to the show as soon as they’re available.

In concert with this announcement, I’d like to add that Jon Abbott is joining Canucks Army. Not only that — Abbott will be co-hosting the show with each and every weekend! You’ll remember Abbott as the play-by-play voice of the Vancouver Canucks on TSN. Aside from being an excellent radio personality, Abbott’s reporting skills are among the best in the city. I can’t wait to see what he brings to Canucks Army Radio.

Each week we plan to bring you the brightest voices in the world of hockey, including insiders, analysts and scouts, to break down everything there is to discuss concerning Canucks hockey. We’re going to talk prospects, roster decisions, trade rumours, game previews, recaps… you name it!

It’s an exciting time for everyone involved, and I can’t wait to launch the show. See you there, this Friday at midnight and again on Saturday after the post-game show.
