The American Hockey League has postponed the Abbotsford Canucks&#8217; two home games that were set to commence this week due to COVID-19 and travel concerns.
The team said the following in an official statement:
<blockquote>The American Hockey League today announced that due to league COVID-19 protocols and related travel concerns, this week’s games between the Tucson Roadrunners and Abbotsford Canucks scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 22 and Thursday, Dec. 23 in Abbotsford, B.C., will be rescheduled.
These games will be rescheduled at a later date.

As for the Vancouver Canucks, the club is practicing today at Rogers Arena but their games have all been postponed in the lead up to Christmas as the NHL grapples with positive COVID-19 tests all around the league.
