The Abbotsford Canucks travel to Henderson, Nevada, for a two-game set against the Henderson Silver Knights.
Fresh off a three-game test against the Ontario Reign, one of the Western Conference’s top clubs — where they claimed two of three — Abbotsford couldn’t ask for a more timely matchup. The Canucks enter the weekend with a 5-5-0-0 record over their last 10 games and an opportunity to gain ground in the Pacific Division.
Henderson, meanwhile, has struggled to find consistency lately. The Silver Knights are 3-4-3-0 over their last 10 contests and 3-7-3-1 across their previous 14.
With back-to-back wins, Abbotsford could climb out of the division basement and pull even with both Henderson and Calgary in the standings. Although the clubs opened the season against one another, they have not met since early November. The season series is tied 2-2-0-0, though Henderson holds a 16-10 edge in goals.
This series comes in the middle of a five-game road swing, with the Canucks set to wrap up the trip next weekend in Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Players of note

All eyes will be on Arshdeep Bains. With two points against Ontario on February 16, he tied Linus Karlsson for the franchise lead in points at 148. Bains now sits just seven assists shy of Christian Wolanin’s all-time franchise mark.
Ty Mueller has taken over the team scoring lead with 26 points (10 goals, 16 assists). Following a three-point performance against the Reign, he has produced at better than a point-per-game pace over his last 12 outings while centring the top line.
Jonathan Lekkerimäki continues his climb up the leaderboard. With his 12th goal of the season, he matched Sheldon Rempal and moved into the top 10 in franchise goals. Through just 63 games, the Swede has scored 33 times and could pass Max Sasson (34) this weekend while closing in on (or overtaking) Aatu Räty (37).
In goal, Nikita Tolopilo has started five consecutive games, winning three of those outings. With the NHL club back in session, Aku Koskenvuo was recalled to Vancouver to practice alongside Jiri Patera. As a result, Ty Young was summoned from the Kalamazoo Wings and could see his first AHL action since early December.
Abbotsford has also welcomed back several injured bodies. Chase Stillman returned from a broken fibula suffered in late October and scored his first goal as a member of the organization. Sawyer Mynio, Nils Åman, and Jujhar Khaira have also rejoined the lineup.
Lukas Reichel (Germany) and Anri Ravinskis (Latvia) remain out while representing their countries at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
Kirill Kudryavtsev continues to recover from a reported high ankle sprain, while Vilmer Alriksson, Joseph LaBate, and MacKenzie MacEachern remain sidelined.

What’s next?

Game one is Friday at 7:00 p.m. PT, with game two on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. PT at Lee’s Family Forum.
Following the weekend, the Canucks will head to Calgary to wrap up their road trip with a two-game set against the Wranglers on February 27 and March 1.
