The NHL season is fast approaching, and that means NHL fantasy drafts are right around the corner for all you fantasy players out there.

Over the last few days, Daily Faceoff has been releasing its top fantasy rankings. Four Daily Faceoff members, including Daily Faceoff Managing Editor Matt Larkin, Daily Faceoff Managing Fantasy Editor Brock Seguin, DFO Fantasy Manager of Fantasy News and Social Beebs Bondy, and Daily Faceoff Fantasy contributor Nick Szerman, gave their top rankings for the upcoming season. And on Friday, the four released their consensus top 250 rankings.

On the consensus rankings list were six Vancouver Canucks. Here are the consensus rankings, with words from Larkin on each of his rankings:

“At this point, you’re drafting him for the 50-point floor and hoping he gets traded, as the right environment could jump him back to the point-per-game range. He’s still talented enough to be special, just not in Vancouver anymore.”

“The Vancouver Canucks are a dead end, and so is Boeser’s ceiling for now, but you can get a safe 20-25 goals and 45-50 points. Just be warned in plus-minus leagues; he’s minus-73 over the past two seasons.”

“Not a bad Zero-D pick in that Hronek plays a ton – more than 25 minutes a game after the Quinn Hughes trade – and will accumulate a nice point total. I just have to issue the plus-minus disclaimer for pretty much every Canucks player. I’ll stop now. Consider it implied.”

“Same situation as Boeser’s. We take the 20-plus goals and pray for a trade – though DeBrusk has never shown the same peak form as Boeser’s.”

“A year ago, Buium was absolutely an all-world prospect. He still is. He was the key to the Quinn Hughes trade. He’ll get every chance to inherit a similar role in Vancouver. It doesn’t mean the breakout will be instantaneous, but Buium has the ability to become a special player, so he’s worth a flier.”

“He’s handed Vancouver’s No. 2 center gig out of the gate and, between Elias Pettersson’s disappointing play and trade rumors, Rossi could easily end up as the No. 1 center. The role alone could get him back over the 50-point line.”
