No doubt you’ve noticed some changes around here. Yeah, this is has been sometime in the making. We had to enslave an entire wing of the local library to find the nerd-power necessary to get this far.
Here at the Army, we’re all about making zany predictions based on very little evidence one way or the other. We’re also into close-order drills and marching. It’s the army after all.
It’s become a tradition: every year at CanucksArmy (and at our sister sites FlamesNation and OilersNation), our writers and commenters pick their stars — that one player who they will praise without end no matter what — and their goats — their yearly whipping-boy; he who can do no good for the season.
When we started the Army, we didn’t want to be staffed with conscripts or people forced into these battles. We want true soldiers who care about the wars waged against the Canucks by other, lesser teams.
