Canucks Select Petrus Palmu 181st Overall

With their second-to-last pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, the Vancouver Canucks took a swing for the fences by selecting Owen Sound Attack winger Petrus Palma at 181st overall.
Palmu, who is in his third year of draft eligibility, scored 98 points (40 goals and 58 assists) in 62 games playing primarily on the Attack’s first line. Though a touch undersized at 5’7″, Palmu isn’t afraid to go to the net to bury his chances. Palmu’s also among the best shot generating forwards in the entire OHL.
Playing on the Attack’s first line, Palmu’s developed a familiarity with Canucks’ 33rd overall selection Jonah Gadjovich. I’m sure the two couldn’t be more thrilled to reunite at the draft in Vancouver.
Hey, @Canucks. In case you didn't know, @PalmuPp and @JGadjovich are best friends. #ReunitedAndItFeelsSoGood
