This week was the first full week of the Canucks’ off-season. As will be common for the next few months, the amount of organizational activity will be limited. Oilers vs Sharks, hunger trumps experience.
San Jose looked tired, their game just didn’t click. They have many, many decisions to make going forward. Marleau and Thonrton are both 37 and are UFA’s. Sharks traded away their #2,#3, and #4 picks this year, and #2 and #3 the year after that. As of right now they are close to the cap. What will Wilson do to turn things around? I don’t see them sticking with the same lineup. Kind of reminds me of the Kings last year.
I kept waiting for Hansen to pop one in, but it was not to be.
