Gillis repudiated Capgeek’s estimate of roughly 1 million in deadline cap-space for the team, he virtually guaranteed that Reinprecht will be with the team come playoff time, and expressed some qualified trepidation about having 24/7’s camera-crews embedded with the team.

The Tim Thomas saga won’t go away, and the goaltender’s continued refusal to address the issue (as well as his unintentional invocation of his own Miranda Rights) aren’t helping things.
This is a really good take on Luongo’s mileage by Ed Wiles. He suggests that the Canucks may look to keep Cory Schneider instead of Luongo – not because Luongo is a "choker" – but because he’s older in goalie years than he is in human years. Really interesting stuff.
