WJC Gameday: Canada vs. Finland (Pre-Competition)

The 2013 edition of the IIHF World Junior Championships doesn’t get officially going until Boxing Day, but things kick off on the exhibition calendar this morning as Canada faces Finland. The game airs on TSN beginning at 9:30am ET (6:30am PT), live from Vantaa, Finland.
The game is the first chance to evaluate the final roster for Canada and for Finnish fans to prepare for a couple cuts that need to be made before the tournament begins.

Notables not dressed today include Panthers prospect Jonathan Huberdeau for Canada and 2013 draft eligible Finns Sasha Barkov, Rasmus Ristolainen and Juuso Ikonen. It was not 100% certain at the time of this report which goaltenders would be dressing as back-ups today.
Following the Canada/Finland game, TSN will also be broadcasting the USA/Sweden exhibition game from the same venue. That game is tentatively set to kick off at 12:30pm ET (9:30am PT).
