Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
With the NHL still on their Holiday break, we will shift our focus to the NBA where there’s nine games scheduled for Boxing Day, headlined by a huge matchup in the western conference, as the first place Minnesota Timberwolves will visit the the third place Oklahoma City Thunder and Canadian MVP candidate Shai Gilgerous-Alexander.
Shai has continued his other-worldly play ranking third in the league in points per game with 30.8 behind only Joel Embid and Luka Doncic. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s games.

Player Prop

If you’re an avid follower of this series, you would know how much of a Sengun fan I am. This is an absolutely perfect spot for this play, Indiana plays at the highest pace in the league and this is a game with a low spread, meaning there’s going to be ample scoring opportunity for Houston and Sengun should hit this number with ease.
Baby Joker has hit his over 4.5 assists in four of his last five games, take this play at .8 units.

Player Prop

Bojan Bogdanovic to register over 2.5 three pointers made at -125. My $10 bet would return $18.
The Pistons are on an astonishing 26 game losing streak, yes you read that right. Detroit started the season 2-1 and lost 26 straight games, giving them a record of 2-27. A very rare bright spot for the Pistons has been the play of veteran Bojan Bogdanovic, who has shot the lights out of the ball this season and is scoring the three at the highest clip of his career averaging 3 makes per game.
I like this spot a lot for him against a Nets team that’s 22nd in the NBA in defensive rating, take this play at .8 units.

Main Markets

Kawhi Leonard to register under 26.5 points at -105. My $10 bet would return $19.52.
A rare under for us, I like games with low spreads and try to stay away from games with high ones, blowouts will absolutely kill your basketball plays as starters won’t touch the court in the fourth quarters. This is why I am taking the under here, the Clippers are rolling and should have this game wrapped up before the fourth quarter as they’re playing a Hornets team without Lamelo Ball who have lost seven straight games.
I like this play at .8 units.

Last Game Bets

Brock Boeser to register over 2.5 shots at -175. My $12.50 bet would return $19.64. – HIT
Quinn Hughes to score a power-play point at +120. My $10 bet would return $22.  – MISSED
Vancouver to win by over 1.5 goals at -120. My $12.50 bet would return $22.91. – HIT
Just missed on Hughes as he got the “third assist” on Vancouver’s power-play goal, but another solid day of profit. We staked $35 and returned $42.55, we are now up $140.88 on the season.
