Vancouver Canucks sign Brock Boeser to three-year contract at $6.65 million AAV

The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed forward Brock Boeser to a three-year contract annually worth $6.65 million, the club announced Friday afternoon.

Boeser, 25, scored 23 goals and 46 points in 71 games with the Canucks during the 2021–22 regular season. His previous contract, a three-year deal with a $5.875 million AAV, was set to expire on July 13.

According to Canucks reporter Rick Dhaliwal, Boeser’s deal carries a modified no-trade clause in its final year. He’ll be eligible to become an unrestricted free agent when his new contract expires in 2025.

“We’re very happy to have worked out a new deal for Brock,” Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin said Friday. “He is a very talented player and has been an effective goal scorer throughout his entire career. We look forward to seeing his game progress in the years to come.

“Now that his contract is in place for three seasons, Brock can shift his entire focus to his on-ice performance.”

Boeser, a 6’1″, 208-pound right wing, has scored 121 goals and 256 points in 324 career regular-season games with the Canucks, adding 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 17 playoff appearances.
