Botchford is a negative sensationalist on a good day but he at least he reports that the Stetcher signing came about because Benning was honest with him.

Botch even had praise for both Desjardins and Benning in regards to the Shinkaruk dump for Granlund-that turned out be a shrewd move,BTW.

Given the distaste and even hatred for both Benning and Desjardins a faint crack of positivity/praise has opened up towards both men in the unrelenting negativity that is the Vancouver sports media.

I don’t get it. Kuzma’s article stated Virtanen came to camp bloated and out of shape, but all summer the reports were that Virtanen was working out daily with the training staff. What’s the real story?

Exactly, what is the real story? It is unfortunate that we never seem to get from the Vancouver media, what is really happening. But then I don’t think they know either. They are certainly good at creating stories though, a lot of Fiction. Grrr.
