Another week has passed in the hockey world.

With the World Junior rosters being announced, quite a few players around the prospect world will try and realize their dream of representing their country. For the players that won’t participate, it means an elevated role to make up for the missing players.

One of the Canucks top prospects is currently sidelined with an injury!

We dive into it, with this week’s edition of Blackfish: The Canucks Army Prospect Report!

  • Olli Juolevi had one goal in two games for London:

  • Rodrigo Abols had a monster week – including a 5 PT (3-2-5) night. If you open the tweet below, you will be able to see all three goals from that night:

  • Jakob Stukel had one goal and one assist in two games for the Hitmen this week.
  • Tate Olson continues to struggle this year – he had zero points in three games for Prince George this past week.
  • Cole Candella had three assists this past week.

    Have a good weekend!

UND started playing their own division on Nov 4th. Prior to that they played bottom feeders in a division below them.

Since Nov 4th, Boeser has one goal and 3 pts in 8 games.

Juolevi has fewer points and fewer ppg then teammate Victor Mete, a 4th rounder from the same year. He’s 17th in d-men scoring in the OHL.

We’re pretty silent on this info.

I was concerned when people were already pencilling Boeser to play with Bo and Baer. He’s an outstanding prospect, but we were so quick to anoint him without playing a game yet. Kyle Conner, who destroyed college hockey last year on his way to the Hobey Baker, has 1 goal in 19 games. Just need to be patient, and this goes with Jake as well.
