    Have a good weekend!

I admit I have not seen Juolevi play but I do wonder about a guy with 8 penalty minutes in 19 games. He might be Tanev with better puck handling skills but it might also indicate a player with no physical presence who shies away from contact. It makes his top end not a Chara, Pronger, Doughty or Keith clone but maybe a Lidstrom type of player.

Maybe someone who has watched him play can enlighten me.

    • Rodeobill

I know Demko is projected to have a higher upside, but I like what I’ve seen from Garteig too and I’m glad to see a silver lining in that maybe he gets some time to work a bit with Rollie too in Utica.

Also I wonder what has changed for Boeser this year, different teammates I guess, or different role and responsibilities?

    • wojohowitz

Any player who is a Norris Trophy candidate is someone most teams can only dream about. The difference in Lidstrom`s game was that his positioning was nearly always perfect and he almost never made a mistake like giveaways but he was never a guy to lay on the lumber. Players like Chara and Pronger were always known for their stickwork and their nasty dispositions. Go anywhere near them and they would wack you.

The question about Juolevi was this; There were nine defencemen taken in the first round and one of those nine will be better than the rest but which one is the one. Sergachev, Chychrun, Johansen, Fabbro, McAvoy.
