Some notes about the roster:

  • All of the Canucks draft classes of 2015 and 2016 are in attendance.
  • Thatcher Demko and Mackenze Stewart (who are listed as a defenceman) are the only players from the 2014 class – with Nikita Tryamkin and Jake Virtanen graduating to the NHL, Jared McCann and Gustav Forsling having been traded and Kyle Pettit going unsigned.
  • Troy Stecher, Michael Garteig and Yan-Pavel Laplante – all signed to entry level contracts in the past few months, are in attendance.
  • The Canucks have invited three defencemen, nine forwards and two goaltenders (plus Curtis Valk) – which we will cover more in depth early next week.
