Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, the funniest gifs, the most jaw-dropping photos, the coolest videos and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost and would like it to be featured in our Headshots posts please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.

Passittobulis is hosting a contest and giving away three free copies of the Canucks Preview magazine from Maple Street Press to the winner. Go check out the contest, but just in case you don’t win – you may as well pre-order it to be safe! The Preview Magazine features work from four! Canucksarmy writers (Greer, Charron, Davie and myself) and was editted by Harrison Mooney. It’s going to be seriously awesome.

Also from Passittobulis here’s links to all four parts of the "every goal Daniel Sedin scored" series: Part IPart IIPart IIIPart IV. There are some real beauties in this mix. This is it for PiTB’s every goal scored series – but it was a welcome addition to my lunch hour over the course of the summer, and I know must have taken forever to compile. So kudos to Wagner and Mooney for their work.

Fantasy Hockey expert Jeff Angus lists Mikael Samuelsson as one of his top-5 "comeback" players in a post on rldhockey.com. Jeff expects Samuelsson to slot in for Christian Ehrhoff and spend a fair bit of time manning the point on PP1.

GIF BREAK: Bieksa tries to sucker Landsberg into pulling his finger while shoulder shaking… Yep. (Via @bieksler).

Corey Pronman of hockeyprospectus profiles the top-10 Canucks prospects. Looks pretty barren once you get past Rodin, Jensen and Hodgson (and based on what I’ve heard about Rodin’s injury – I’m way less high on him than Pronman).

HeadtotheNet asks if we’re ready for what Hodgson can bring to the table. I say yes – bring it on AV, lets see what this kid can do in the top 6!

With feelings running as high as they were at the time, I think that a text apology was appropriate, especially since the Bruins were milking every incident that occured to paint the Canucks in as negative a light as possible. At worst, the Rome hit on Horton was mis-timed rather than malicious. For me there is an element of “I’m telling mummy!” in Horton’s whine. Get over it.
