It's true, despite all the competition today, @SHorcov still rules. If you're not following the best spoof account on Twitter, you're missing out.

If you're a Canucks fan, you probably had no idea who Dennis Bernstein was until a few weeks ago when he decided to start trolling a fanbase. When you click on his articles at The Fourth period, you're greeted by a mugshot of a man who isn't smiling. He is probably angry at how lousy his haircut is.
That is Dennis Bernstein. We focus a lot on narratives at Canucks Army, or, so to speak, we focus a lot on making sure that narratives are consistent with fact. There's nothing wrong with a good story, but there is something wrong in getting the components of the story wrong. Anyway, here is a fact: Dennis Bernstein wrote a piece on the Canucks' loss to the Los Angeles Kings called "Beached Whales", and it is really the worst thing you'll ever read.

This faux hipster dummy accountant is angry. And so am I. He's made because I keep asking
if I can write off pajama pants as a business expense.

Today I continue my weekly feature of me venting and raging on stupid crap happening with the Canucks, their fans and around the NHL. Two things about feature... 1) It will appear (hopefully) every Monday, and 2) It is blatantly ripped off from a stand-up bit from comedian Craig Anton. On either point, I make no apologies. Enjoy. Or don't.
This week, I'm the guy that says 'You're a moron' to the Hodgson camp, double-standards and Strombone's noisy hangers-on. As they say on TSN, they're a dud.

When Canucks General Manager Mike Gillis, a former player agent, went whole hog and essentially bashed Cody Hodgson for being a handful to deal with in his season ending press conference - it was jarring. Gillis has been an advocate for players rights his entire career, just ask Alan Eagleson, and it was surprising to hear him paint a talented young player as something of a prima donna. You knew that Cody Hodgson's camp was going to respond somehow, and they found an ingenious vessel to do so in Hodgson's well respected personal trainer: Gary Roberts.

Like their parent club, the Chicago Wolves are skating off into the night.

On Friday night, the Wolves were looking to do what the Canucks couldn't do the weekend before - perform the reverse sweep and snatch a series win away from an opponent. Despite dominating the second and third periods, Chicago fell vicitm to their own bad ice. The visiting Rampage watched calmly as the Wolves couldn't connect on several golden opportunities, before finally taking an opportunity of their own in the second overtime period to seal the series win.
