Let the Cody Hodgson era with the Vancouver Canucks officially begin. Early Monday morning, Cody Hodgson was recalled from the Manitoba Moose and is expected to join the team in Dallas for their game tomorrow against the Stars.
So what should *WE* expect from Hodgson?

Like a bat out of hell, the Canucks ran all over the Stars earlier this week, tuning them to the sweet delight of a 7-1 score. Alex Burrows, Mikael Samuelsson, Mason Raymond and Dan Hamhuis all dropped scoring-drought monkeys off their backs and helped chase Lehtonen in a PIM-filled contest.
All things considered, you'd think the Canucks would be rather dominant in respect to their scoring chances in such a game right? Think again.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have an Edler down!
The Vancouver Canucks announced today that Alex Edler will be out indefinitely and will immediately undergo microdiscectomy surgery.
YIKES. The Canucks depth on defense is facing its toughest challenge. Ever.

Game Day Recon #50 - Predators @ Canucks
The Canucks shook off a scoring slump in a big way, as they trounced the Stars 7-1 on Monday. More importantly, the win saw Mikael Samuelsson, Mason Raymond, Alex Burrows and Dan Hamhuis all hit the goal column again.
Can the Canucks keep the momentum going for one more game before entering the All-Star break?
