Game Day Recon: Game #13 - Canucks @ Wild
The Canucks continue their six-game road-trip with their first visit to the Land of 10,000 Lakes this year. Historically, the Canucks first trip to Minnesota every year usually ends in a loss... when they play in October. However, when their first game against the Wild at Xcel happens in November, the Canucks are 3-0 in the past 5 years. So do the Canucks show some of their October hangover tonight, or do they continue their November dominance?

What a difference a couple of games makes. Following their shutout loss to the St. Louis Blues, the Canucks bandwagon was filled with tumbleweeds and Roberto Luongo was quickly becoming a bigger pyrriah than Frankenstein's Monster.
Then, the perfect storm rolled in and Luongo and the Canucks faced arguably their two favourite opponents.
And they laid a goal-scoring whooping on their absolute favourite opponent over the last two years.

Game Day Recon: Game #12 - Canucks @ Flames
The Canucks have owned the Flames over the last few seasons, especially in Calgary. However, the month of October once again treated the Canucks like its Daddy and threw the Canucks down the Western Conference standings. Luckily for the Canucks, their rainy Octobers almost always lead to sunny Novembers.
As the Canucks begin November in Cowtown, they'll be hoping that their dominance over the Flames and November shows itself once more. Another strong performance over the Flames will be an excellent way for the Canucks to kickstart a six-game road trip, which begins tonight at the Saddledome.

Today I continue my weekly feature of me venting and raging on stupid crap happening with the Canucks, their fans and around the NHL. Two things about feature... 1) It will appear (hopefully) every Monday, and 2) It is blatantly ripped off from a stand-up bit from comedian Craig Anton. On either point, I make no apologies. Enjoy. Or don't.
In this week's edition, Raffi Torres has got 99 problems and CanucksArmy IS one, I hate on the Oilers, and on myself for giving props TO the Oilers, and some more Hallowe'en stuff.
