Game Day Recon: Game #16 - Canucks @ Kings
The Vancouver Canucks roll in to SoCal tonight for the first of back-to-back games. The Canucks face a reeling Kings team that, prior to a very close win over the Predators on Tuesday, had lost 5 straight. The Canucks will be looking to send the Kings back to the loss column after their own convincing win against their arch-nemesis Blackhawks and a few days of R & R in Cali.
After a great win and some rest, does this get the Canucks back on track? Or will the let-down after a rival match-up and a few days off kill the Canucks tonight?

Even dating back to his days with the Panthers, the pain and anguish in Mike Duco's eyes was obvious.

It started out as a curious observation. It grew into a fact-finding mission that shook the very fabric of the hockey world with a startling admission. What we discovered yesterday was not just one of the greatest revelations in the history of hackneyed, part-time Canucks blogging - it was one of the greatest revelations in all of history.

Today I continue my weekly feature of me venting and raging on stupid crap happening with the Canucks, their fans and around the NHL. Two things about feature... 1) It will appear (hopefully) every Monday, and 2) It is blatantly ripped off from a stand-up bit from comedian Craig Anton. On either point, I make no apologies. Enjoy. Game Day Recon: Game #14 - Canucks @ Blues
In their last meeting, Blues goalie Brian Elliott played out of this world, leaing his team to a 3-0 win at Rogers Arena. Tonight, the Canucks look to put a big loss in Minnesota in their rearview mirror and take a moonlit bike ride to victory.
While riding in a wicker basket. Wearing an oversized hoodie.
But I digress... OH! Right. Onto the Canucks game!
