Here is a shot of the Canucks last game in Florida. Kesler is clearly trying to skate-stomp the ankle of
fellow American (and now current teammate) David Booth.
Oh and look, there's Steve Bernier struggling to breathe while skating.

Game Day Recon: Game #43 - Canucks @ Panthers
They survived "The Re-match" with most of their soldiers coming out alive from the Battle of Beantown. They lost two good men, but their losses will not be in vain, as the 2012th regiment of the Canucks continue to fight the war as they travel down the Eastern seaboard to battle the ... Florida Panthers (?!?!).
Ok, it's not that dramatic. The Canucks face the Panthers tonight, or as we like to call them here in Vancouver... the Florida "Former and Future Canucks".

It's time. Duco is headed back to Florida.
Vampire Nation is risen!

Canucks Nation is abuzz today with the news that their favourite undead hockey player, Mike Duco, has packed his fangs, cape and coffin down to FLA to join the Vancouver Canucks.
Duco, with his red eyes, pale skin and inability to be near garlic, will make his Canucks regular season debut against his former club, the Florida Panthers (aka the Future or Former Members of the Vancouver Canucks).

The Good and the Bad of this past week.
It's Friday. So we close out the "Week That Was" with our latest volume of Cheers and Jeers.
This week, I focus exclusively on the Canucks players, as we hand out some CanucksArmy special mid-season Cheers and Jeers. Who's got the shap? And who are the Canucks milts?

Kesler scores. Fans celebrate. All is right in the world.
Will the same be true tonight? Or will Kes and the Canucks fall victim to the (duh duh DUH) TRAP!

Game Day Recon: Game #41 - Wild @ Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks are about to complete the first half of their regular season. They'll end it by finishing tops in their division and in one of the top 2 spots in the Western Conference. It's hard to say they haven't had a good first half but they need to turn around a small, recent downturn before they start the second half of the season. And that might be the big problem with tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild.
Are the Canucks looking beyond tonight to their match-up against the Boston Bruins on Saturday? Is the game tonight a dreaded TRAP GAME?!

Sami Salo has been doing a lot of this for the last month. Chasing, watching the opposition skate past him.
Salo needs a nap.. or a broken hand.

Sami Salo is playing against the odds this season. So far, he has been far more durable than he has ever been while in a Canucks uniform. And that's the problem. Sami Salo needs an injury. For the sake of his team.
It's time to lay down, Sami.
