They've broken our hearts, game after game, year after year.

This is the first of a two-part post where we chronicle and count down the top 10 Canuck Killers active in the NHL today.
The term "Canucks Killer" has been around for many years and Canucks fans are well aware of what it means. There's just a few players out there, who always seem to go for the jugular when they face Vancouver's club. A "Canuck Killer" scores frequently, tallies key disheartening goals, or just racks up points game after game. When you see a Canucks Killer, you know it. He's the player who can turn any Canucks fan briefly turn into Marlon Brando from Apocalypse Now, desperately whispering "the horror, the horror" at their television set.
I decided to track them all down, quantify them, rank them and share them all with you, because Canucks fans don't have enough to stress out about these days. Let's take a look at which active NHLers consistently use voice modulation software when calling the Canucks on their cell-phones in order to threaten them...

Game Day Recon: Game #64 - Canucks @ Coyotes
Did the Vancouver Canucks become a tougher playoff team yesterday? Or did they gamble away their future by trading a potential captain? Canucks fans will have the next few months and then years and years ahead of them to debate Mike Gillis's 2012 Trade Deadline Day moves.
Today is Day 1 of the Canucks A.C. (After Cody) and Vancouver club gets their first chance to put their new lineup to a pretty hard test tonight as they'll be hosted the hottest team in the league... the Phoenix Coyotes.
Yes, that's right. The Coyotes are the hottest team in the NHL.

Ricky Gervais is angry. And so am I. He's the only person worth watching
as host of an awards show. And you should skip the rest of the show and just watch him.

Today I continue my weekly feature of me venting and raging on stupid crap happening with the Canucks, their fans and around the NHL. Two things about feature... 1) It will appear (hopefully) every Monday (this week, Tuesday!), and 2) It is blatantly ripped off from a stand-up bit from comedian Craig Anton. On either point, I make no apologies. Enjoy. Or don't.
This week, I rip the awards out of the hands of Slap Shot, Sportsnet and Trade Deadline Day coverage.

The Good and the Bad of this past week.
It's Friday. So we close out the "Week That Was" with our latest volume of... "Cheers and Jeers!"
This week, I give a fatherly pat on the back to Baumer, Goon and the STREAKBREAKER, while I send the Hurricanes, Scott Howson and crybabies to their room without dinner.
