Welcome to this week's Journal of Hockey Analytics. I have payed attention to the links flying across the Twittersphere all week to bring you the latest and greatest (and maybe some terrible links, don't hold me accountable!) in the field of hockey analytics research. Hopefully this will either help with your next project, or just act as a resource for killing another slow day at work.
For analysis on why Jonathan Quick hasn't been very good, Stanley Cup Final goodies, some more analysis on why people should stop overrating Quick, and more -- continue past the jump.

Welcome to this week's version of the Comets Militia Weekly Prospect Report(let). With little happening in terms of pro talent at the moment, this moment in time can be considered the calm before the storm on the prospect front.
There are plenty of rumours swirling around with regards to who the Canucks are interested with that ever-so-important 6th overall selection they currently hold, and we're only 3 weeks away from finally seeing it all play out before our very eyes.
I've scourging around the internet and Twitter to bring you the latest information, which we'll get into just past the jump. Read on for more about the latest in Canucks prospect rumours, news, gossip, and some things I've flat out made up to help pass the time.

In this week's report(let) we're going to go through all of the latest relevant prospect news because, well, it's nearing the end of May and we don't really have much of it to begin with. When there isn't news, we look for gossip, and when there's no gossip, we make things up. Never let a fact ruin a good prospect narrative is what I always say to Dimitri (and anyone that'll listen)!
A reminder that if you're bored this summer, craving hockey news, and would like to stay updated on everything regarding Canucks prospects by following me on Twitter @nuckprospects. You're also more than welcome to send me any feedback on anything prospect related you wish for me to cover in the future.
For Memorial Cup #FancyStats, the latest in Canucks and Comets news, read on past the jump!
