It's been awhile since the Canucks won, but at least the loser points are piling up and keeping them in the playoff hunt. Tonight, the Predators bring their three-game winning streak to Vancouver. Winner steps back into the top eight in the Western Conference.
The Canucks had the Predators where they wanted them last week, but sadly Nashville played spoiler with 1.5 seconds left in OT. Time for some retribution.

After losing a barn burner against the Flyers, the Canucks look to bounce back against a familiar face in Cory Schneider, his Devils, and Canuck killer Taylor Hall. Every game from here on in will be pretty important if the Canucks are actually serious about making the postseason.
Two points against New Jersey is worth the same against anyone else. It might be a little harder against a normally stingy Devils crew.

The Canucks have touched down in Philadelphia for a date with the Flyers. Both teams split the season series last year with each team winning at home. The Flyers are just above the playoff bar in 7th, while the Canucks are looking to get back in the hunt with a win. A meaningful Canucks/Flyers game is in the cards tonight and you can expect both teams to bring everything they have.
This means 12 forwards and 6 defensemen (you know who you are).

No more streak to preserve so the Canucks can go back to winning games with zero pressure. Vancouver goes into Nashville a point back of the Kings for 8th and 2 points ahead of the Predators who also aren't in the playoff picture. This isn't going to be a game circled on the calendar by either team but who does that anymore, really?

These guys, again?
It's the Canucks turn to go on the road and give the Flames the
home ice advantage business in a different barn other than Rogers Arena. Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way first: Vancouver can extend their win streak to seven this evening by beating the Flames in any fashion.
Things are starting to click everywhere for the Canucks, and there may be some sort of renaissance happening where this team gets "officially" good. Injuries, however, are creeping up on Vancouver and it could spell the end of the Cinderella run.
Canucks/Flames, round two... TONIGHT!
