We included Chloe Ezra's bad-ass (but super adorable) Canucks stickers in Headshots yesterday, and Fort Nucks has more on them today. Also you can actually order the stickers from Chloe's website now, which is pretty awesome. [Fort Nucks/Blue Soup]

Excellent stuff from Iain Macintyre on Keith Ballard, who "makes all the little plays," and has performed admirably for the Canucks in the early going this season. [Vancouver Sun]

Read on past the jump for more links and other nonsense.

Here's an interesting quote from former Chicago Wolves headcoach Craig MacTavish:

Not a big surprise. MacTavish's Chicago Wolves deployed completely different systems from those used by the Canucks during his time coaching Vancouver's AHL affiliate, and for what it's worth I don't necessarily think MacTavish is completely of base here. There's certainly a few things that the Canucks did last season that even I've described as "too cute by half." That said, Mike Gillis' win/loss record as an NHL General Manager kind of speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Mitch(EmDee), whose last name I somehow don't actually know, debuted his new weekly post at the Legion of Blog. Excellent stuff from one of the Smylosphere's most consistent, readable and hardest working bloggers. [Legion of Blog]

Andy Eide points out that the Canucks are relying on stellar goaltending and stingy defense in the early going this season, which harkens back to the early days of Alain Vigneault's tenure as head coach. [The Hockey Writers]

Harrison Mooney has a laugh at a silly photo of Jannik Hansen's elbow all up in Jordan Eberle's nether-region. [Pass it to Bulis

This is a little bit cruel of me to point out, but Ben Kuzma spends an awful lot of time in his Wild v. Canucks game preview talking up Wild rookie forward Charlie Coyne. Charlie Coyne who, probably has a very similar skillset to prized rookie Charlie Coyle, is possibly related to Liberal Leadership contender Deborah Coyne but I haven't verified that at the time of this writing. [The Province]

Finally, the Hockey Writers put together a guide of essential Canucks follows. I made the list but I got described as a "honcho" which, I don't really think offends me at all. [The Hockey Writers]

Failed experiments aside, I like that the Canucks are trying to do everything possible to gain an advantage.

Hey Tom do you mind elaborating on why you believe that Gillis always trying to gain an advantage can be counter productive? Or point my lazy ass towards a link if you already have.
